At the 16th Headies Award, Black Sherif emerged as the Best West African Artist

Black Sherif, a sensational Hi-Life music star from Ghana, was awarded the title of Best West African Artist at the 16th Headies ceremony in Atlanta, USA.

He triumphed over other talented artists, including Camidoh and Gyakie, from the region.

In his acceptance speech, Black Sherif expressed his gratitude to his fans across Africa and specifically to his hometown, Konongo Zongo.

He thanked the Headies and both Nigeria and Ghana for the recognition.

The 16th Headies Awards featured electrifying performances from Afrobeats stars, such as Ayra Starr, Asake, Rema, Victony, KCee, Oxlade, Johnny Drille, Blaqbonez, Spyro, Seyi Vibez, and FireBoyDML.
