Following the untimely passing of her partner, Christian Atsu, Marie Claire-Rupio has acknowledged that life has not been particularly simple for her.
Due to the tragic earthquake that hit Turkey in February, the Ghanaian football player passed away.
German national Claire-Rupio, who has three kids with Atsu, turned to Instagram to discuss the struggles she faces every day.
She made the choice to disclose her difficulties in response to the negative feedback she got after sharing a video of herself dancing to Davido’s hit song, “Unavailable.”
“I am writing just to say a few things, yes I posted a dance video,” she said in her justification. Not because I am joyful, but rather because I need to figure out how to handle my pain. I have three children to care for on my own, so I’m not alone. I must be strong for them, so I can’t let myself fall apart. Dancing was always my passion, and in Europe, you deal with mental health in many different ways. So excuse me, but just consider what you’re writing or posting before you do it. I’m grateful.
“It hasn’t been easy, but Christian is missed every single day. especially if you have three kids who beg for their dad on a daily basis! I’m giving it my all.
